Sea, landscape, portrait, and wildlife painter Marion Brennan born in South Africa has made New Zealand home for the past 17 years.
Marion has travelled, and painted extensively in Africa, Australia, Europe and New Zealand. Her vibrant textured oil paintings are a realistic style with a touch of impressionism. Pastel is often Marion’s medium choice for portraits. She studied Fine Arts at the University of South Africa in Pretoria and at EIT Hawkes Bay.
Artex exhibited and sold Marion’s work for the first time in 2006. Her paintings are held in private collections internationally.
Marion produces textured oil paintings which reflect the vibrant colours of NZ and her native Africa. Her portraits, wildlife and nature paintings are held in private collections internationally. The coastlines of NZ have been her recent inspiration.
